Here are 1946-1948 Ford Lockheed backing plates. They are much easier to adjust than the 1940-1941 plates as they have only
one adjustment per brake shoe. You might notice that the keepers each have a small weld to hold them in place. The keepers
are reproductions that don't stay where they are supposed to very well. I purchased new wheel cylinders and brake shoes.
I also used the MT Products adapter rings to re-drill new holes for the backing plates(these may no longer be made.) I also used
the Macs front bearing spacer X2000 available at other venders as well.

This is the front passenger side brake hose BH188215, SBH1001, Wagoner #4497 (V8 hose is too short).
The bracket is an angle iron with a 5/8 inch hole in it. Also shown is 78-2814 brake hose clip. I used 3/16 tubes
on the front since they are easier to bend than 1/4 ones. I did however have to use a few extra adapters since
the brake hose expects a 1/4 inch tube

Here is 91A-2074A 39-41 rear Tee connector This is used to tee the two rear brakes together. Connected to the tee is
brake hose 91A-2078-A. The other end of the hose attaches to the master cylinder.

This shows that the rear bleeder screws need to be shortened if the rear backing plates
are mounting right side up.

A little needs to be ground from the rear backing plates to fit.
